In this Bible study, Lysa offers a safe place to share your disappointments, fresh biblical insight to get you through painful situations, and life- giving perspectives for living in between Eden and eternity.

What Every Growing Christian needs to know & Discipleship • The road less Taken

This men’s group will cover two studies, including What Every Growing Christian Needs to Know, and Discipleship • The Road Less Taken, both by Greg Laurie.

As a Christian, if you are not growing spiritually, you are regressing. Pastor Greg Laurie gives some time-tested advice on how to make sure you are moving forward in your spiritual life. Learn basic disciplines to keep you pressing on and growing in the faith so that you can become a mature believer and help others in their spiritual walk as well.

He also shares what it means to be a real disciple of Christ, and encourages us to learn and grow into spiritual maturity. As believers in Jesus, it is our commission and purpose to be disciples who obey and imitate Him. Opportunity is everywhere, but time is limited. We must seize the moment while we can.

This 13-Week Men’s Group happens Thursdays, beginning 8/27, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The HEart of the Artist

“I wish I had your gift!” How do you handle those words as a creative artist?

Somewhere between pride and self-abasement lies true humility—just one aspect of the balanced character God wants to instill in you as an actor, a musician, a visual artist, or other creative person involved in ministry.

God is interested in your art and your heart. The Heart of the Artist deals head-on with issues every person in an arts ministry faces:

  • Servanthood Versus Stardom
  • Excellence Versus Perfectionism
  • The Spiritual Disciplines of the Artist
  • The Artist in Community . . . and more

The Heart of the Artist will give you a better understanding of yourself and your unique place in the body of Christ. You’ll find wisdom and encouragement that can help you survive the challenges and reap the rich joys of a ministry in the creative arts.

Open to anyone age 16 and older. This 13-Week Course happens on Thursdays, beginning 8/27, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
